  • Beat Meter can be used to measure the beat (MM) rate of a piece of music. It can also be used as a simple metronome and tuning device.

    To measure the beat rate of a piece of music, the user should click on the lower brown bar in time with the music.

    The widget calculates a running average over a number of samples and displays the beat rate below the widget.

    The text turns from white to green when the average is being taken over the number of samples specified in the widget's preferences.
