    Before anything else, it’s important to note that the extension brings the interactive web-based dashboard for COVID-19 tracking in real-time into your Chrome’s toolbar. The dashboard and all its data, mappings, and analysis are provided strictly for educational and academic research purposes by the John Hopkins University.

    The extension displays data via a grey-themed GUI and 4 main sections, namely Totals, Plots, Data, and Confirmed. The first section provides you with the total number of cases worldwide, the number of deaths, and the number of cases with successful recoveries.

    The Plots section provides some very accurate graph representations of the outbreak’s evolution and the actual trend considering the total number of recoveries, and the number of cases in mainland China and other locations.

    You can view the total number of confirmed cases per country/region in the third section of the extension. Here, you can see which countries are the most affected and get a good idea about the evolution of the virus via a graph with two variables: “new confirmed” and “new recovered.”
