    Delcam Exchange can read and write a number of different file formats. These include the international standard formats, such as IGES and STEP, and proprietary formats, such as Delcam's DGK format and CATIA fic files.

    Not only can Delcam Exchange translate between these different formats, but it also allows you to control the translation process so as to ensure you obtain the maximum amount of information possible.

    For example, different formats may handle trimmed surface data in different ways, Delcam Exchange can understand several of these schemes and you can select which is the best for your data.
