    Since it’s a command line utility, it comes in a lightweight package which does not need to be installed. No changes are made to system registry entries to ensure functionality, and an elevated instance of Command Prompt is not necessarily required. Moreover, it can be carried around on a thumb drive to use on other PCs as well.

    Launching the utility without using Command Prompt brings up a sample message to help provide an idea of what can be accomplished. A small, custom panel slides in from the tray area for a few seconds to deliver a custom message.

    Configuring a new message is not rocket science. Needless to say that access must be through the Command Prompt. There are no switches to use to make a message appear, and it’s enough to add a custom text string between quotation marks. If quotation marks are not used, then only the first word appears.
