  • Locked! is a smart tool that combines simplicity of setup and use with a powerful two-tiered security system.  Whether your system is powered off or on, Locked! makes it impossible for anyone to gain access to your valuable information.

    The first time Locked! is run, the Configure screen comes up, and the set Master Password entry screen appears.  Pick a password you can remember and enter it twice.  A minimum of 6 characters is required for all passwords.  This is your Master Password.  It can be used wherever a password is required.

    You may return here and change your Master Password any time you wish.  It will be activated as soon as you hit Ok to exit the configure window.

    If set, Locked! will load each time you start up Windows.  Its icon will appear as a Red X in the system tray, besides the time display, ready to lock your system as needed.

    Checking this will protect your Configure screen with a similar Password window to that used to unlock your system.  Set this if you want to insure no one else can change your Master Password or alter your settings.  Passwords you've generated for others with the Additional Users function will not work here.

    Log entries are generated for each failed access attempt as well as for all hint requests.  The log presents the date, time and area of each failed access as well as what Hint entries were made.  You have the option of clearing the entire file or selectively removing entries.
