    The application’s main working principle revolves around selecting a preferred drive or directory, which is then later on scanned by its detection engine. Right from the start, we noticed that the application will allow users to select the said directories using its built-in navigation feature.

    No support for drag-and-drop operations is provided, and although this might not be a major caveat, it might still be bothersome to certain users, especially if they’re accustomed to working in that way.

    Once a scanning location is selected, users can then proceed to choosing the time-frame for identifying changes in executables. One aspect to consider in future iterations of the app is to include a module that allows one to save the scanning settings, for running iteratively tasks easier.

    Once the scanning has been completed and the results are displayed, users have the choice of saving the resulting data to disk, in Excel-compatible format.

    Although having some minor drawbacks, Recently Created or Modified Executables Search manages to offer good performance when helping users understand more about the behavior of their PCs installed software.
