  • Installing software is easy, but what about uninstalling? There comes a time where you simply have no use for some programs you’ve installed prior, and depending on your use cases, these programs may be just a few, or quite many.

    A bulk uninstall tool sounds like a good idea in the latter scenario, but it’s useful to have on your system all the same. Windows 10/11 App Remover is an app name that gets straight to the point: it’s a functional utility that was designed to enable users to uninstall programs— mainly preinstalled ones — in bulk with just a click.

    There’s not much you have to do to get everything up and running. Ironically, there’s no need to install the app as it is portable. So, boot it up, click the Get Apps button, and it will try to detect the programs you have installed.

    A bunch of programs will most likely appear, and this isn’t because everyone is a heavy user all of a sudden, but because a lot of them are default apps. These apps can be hidden from showing, thankfully.

    Look through the list of software the program has returned and see what you’d be willing to uninstall: check what you want to dispose of, then click Remove App to have the program deal with the uninstallations.

    A caveat is that the program will not successfully detect all the apps on your machine. This was revealed when comparing against my system’s Installed apps menu. Admittedly, the developer also claims that Windows bloatware removal is the scope of this solution.

    Even so, the software seems to have been specifically intended to deal with the removal of system and default apps, mostly for erasing the bloatware Windows usually comes with. As such, it’s best to treat this more like a Windows bloatware uninstaller than anything else.

    As its name states, Windows 10/11 App Remover really was mainly conceived to help users delete the many preinstalled apps that come with the respective operating systems.
